This matter is handled in accordance with Letter No. 113011, dated March 1, 2024, issued by the TECO Technology and Education Foundation (Attachment 1).

This award is intended to recognize individuals who have made concrete and outstanding contributions or achievements benefiting Taiwanese society in one of the following five major fields:

(1) Electrical Engineering / Information Technology / Communications Technology

(2) Mechanical Engineering / Net-Zero Carbon Emissions / Environmental Technology

(3) Chemical Engineering / Materials Science and Technology

(4) Biomedical / Agricultural Technology

(5) Humanities

Applicants who wish to apply through University recommendation should follow the instructions below:

(1) Applications must be recommended by the applicant’s department (institute) and college. By 5:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2024, applicants shall prepare and submit one copy each (including electronic files) of the college/department award recommendation application form (Attachment 4), recommendation letter, and application materials to the department office. These materials will be forwarded to the Center for Teaching and Learning Development by Friday, June 28, 2024, for consolidation. After obtaining the President’s approval and official endorsement, the application will be formally submitted to the Foundation.

(2) Electronic files should also be emailed to ncku-award@ctld.ncku.edu.tw.
