Degree Requirements

•    A minimum of 30 credits from coursework and a thesis project are required to complete the Master of Sustainability Transitions (M.S.T.) in Interdisciplinary Sustainability Studies. Refer to the “Degree Requirements” of the MSS program for details.

1.  Students must complete at least 24 credits from coursework and satisfy the 6-credit requirement for Thesis Research and Practicum with an oral defense in English to obtain their Master’s Degree.

2.  A complete coursework includes 4 required credits in Core Courses, at least 8 credits in Methods Electives, and at least 12 credits in Special Topics on Sustainability. Students must satisfy the Mathematics and Data Science prerequisite.
