This matter is implemented in accordance with the University’s Guidelines for the Establishment of the Li Kuo-Ting Science and Humanities Lecture Program (hereinafter referred to as “the Guidelines”).

The award and subsidy categories are as follows:

(1) Li Kuo-Ting Chair Professor: Up to 4 recipients; each awardee will receive NT$600,000.

(2) Li Kuo-Ting Distinguished Scholar: Up to 4 recipients; each awardee will receive NT$300,000.

(3) Li Kuo-Ting Research Award: Up to 3 recipients; each awardee will receive NT$150,000.

(4) Li Kuo-Ting Gold Medal Award: Up to 3 recipients; each awardee will receive NT$100,000.

(5) Support for University students to participate in overseas bilateral and multinational study programs.

(6) Support for University faculty to develop distinctive academic programs using internet-based technologies.

(7) Support for the establishment of teaching and research equipment at the University.

Applicants who have previously received funding under Item 3, Subparagraph (1), Items (1) through (4) of the Guidelines may not apply again for the same award category or for awards of a similar nature. Recipients of a higher-level award are not eligible to apply for other award categories.

Departments or applicants wishing to recommend or apply are requested to submit the required application form and related supporting materials before the application deadline. Applicants must upload the electronic version (merged into a single file) to the designated submission website for each award category, and submit twelve hard copies (printed double-sided), bound in order, consisting of one original and eleven copies, to the Center for Industry Academia Innovation (10th Floor, Instrumentation Building) for consolidation by Manager Fang Chi.

Award recipients are required to submit the relevant project implementation plan and final achievement report in accordance with the award requirements.
